SATURDAY, JUNE 11 — Morris Dance Workshop for Kids (Philadelphia)

THIS SATURDAY, JUNE 11, Morris Dancing Workshop for little kids in Philadelphia sponsored by All Around This World. Morris Dancing is fantabulously fun folk dancing from England, like in the video above. (though, okay, we won’t be able to exactly do what they’re doing. or wear exactly what they’re wearing). Workshop leader Leslie Talon is a founding member of The Friendly Folk Dancers and Renegade Morris. She has danced with Fiddlekicks and the Germantown Country Dancers. She is a children’s librarian and has a background in dance and movement.

DATE: June 11, 2016
TIME: 1pm. (approximately 45 minutes)
LOCATION: International House Philadelphia, 3701 Chestnut Street in West Philly
COST: $5 per person over 2 years old, at most $15 per family. International House Members and kids 2 and under FREE.
AGES: Appropriate for families with children from toddlers to 8 years old.
