Sample in class experience

This week we go to Mexico and enjoy a musical community party known as a “fandango.”

How will a teacher use this page?

The teacher can use this video as a guide, along with the “Fandango experience” lesson plan, to create a fandango in the classroom, complete with dancing, singing and even a makeshift tarima. The teacher will learn the simple steps from Jay and lead the dancing him or herself. Or, the teacher and the class will watch Jay’s instruction together, learn the basic steps from him, then, upon his instruction, put his video in the background or close it altogether, open one of the suggested embedded videos, and use what they just learned to DANCE!
