Welcome to the Sand Family Band “All Around This World” tour for the summer of 2019! This summer the family band took a ludicrous leap and landed in Europe! Over the course of seven weeks we traveled and played music in a dozen European countries. On the way we took 10,000 pictures! Stayed with friends in Konstanz, Germany. Swam in the lake. Ate sausages on a haunted back porch.

Concert for the kids at Luechtturn GmbH in Schrobenhausen, Germany. Our first European show, proving to ourselves, beyond a doubt, that kids who don’t speak English still speak “music.”

Zurich, Switzerland, cleaning out the car to return it, thinking we were heading home the next day…’til our flight was canceled at the last minute and rebooked for the following morning.

On our extra day we celebrated Liechtenstein’s 300th birthday by drinking free beer at the castle with the King.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 16
Finally returning home to Philadelphia, via Zurich, Brussels and JFK.
